Objectives.

Samsung Electronics'has been developing concepts of new healthcare service platform, designed to seamlessly bridge the gap between everyday wellness and clinical medical care. Architected from a CX consulting perspective with a core focus on human-centered innovation, the platform delivers an AI-driven, hyper-personalized care solution.

Empowering Proactive Health Management: Shifting the paradigm from passive data tracking to actionable, goal-oriented health management by providing users with easily achievable, daily milestones.

Fostering a Trusted AI Companion: Acting as a reliable, human-like AI companion that alleviates user anxieties regarding aging and disease, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

Delivering End-to-End (E2E) Care: Bridging the gap between daily wellness (e.g., sleep, nutrition) and specialized clinical care (e.g., metabolic and cardiovascular diseases) to create a seamless holistic care experience.

Approaches.

We adopted a multifaceted, human-centered approach to directly address and resolve genuine customer pain points.

Design Thinking & Journey Mapping: Leveraged design thinking methodologies to map diverse customer personas and Customer Experience Journeys (CEJ), minimizing friction at every touchpoint—from symptom onset to clinical booking and post-visit care.

Context-Aware Multi-Agent AI: Deployed specialized Multi-Agent AI across various health domains to proactively recognize user context and deliver tailored "Atomic Actions" and behavioral nudges.

Integrated Ecosystem Framework: Established a robust Wellness + Vitals + Clinical service framework that seamlessly synchronizes Samsung's device ecosystem with external healthcare providers and clinics.

The platform drives sustainable value creation for both the users' quality of life and the overarching business ecosystem.

  • Driving Sustained Behavioral Change: Hyper-personalized care plans and gamified daily task rewards foster lasting health habits, ultimately maximizing user retention and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: Empowers users to lower the risk of chronic diseases in their daily lives through preemptive care, resulting in meaningful and measurable health behavior transformations.

  • Strategic Platform Evolution: Transforms Samsung Health from a conventional utility app into a comprehensive "AI Living Companion" platform, unlocking new monetization streams such as premium subscriptions, third-party marketplace partnerships, and strategic B2B/B2G expansions.
